It takes place on a stage with the character perfectly aware that he is talking to a group of people. Laid on the page like a poem. A confused, mature man unzips his life. Words and plot flow, stop, jump and swerve like poetry. “St. Nicholas” is Irish and Dublin-bred, just like the playwright.

Leprathon! Featuring “Leprechaun” 3, 4 & 5 at The Cinefamily – Los Angeles, CA Around 1992, some genius scribe said to himself, “I love slashers like Freddy and Jason — but I’m also into little monsters like Gremlins and Ghoulies. Let’s combine the two!” Who that genius was is unimportant; what matters is that one phone call later to dwarf superstar Warwick Davis, and the bold, courageous Leprechaun saga was born. We have this watershed series to thank for the careers of Jennifer Aniston and…well, some other people, but mostly what we take away with us is the killing, the constant harping of “Where’s me gold?” and the laughter.

The Black Brothers Band – Felton, CA Extend your St. Patrick’s Day festivities by spending an enchanted evening with Shay and Michael Black, the singing siblings from Ireland’s first family of song. Hailed as “one of the most impressive groups of Irish singers to be found anywhere” the Blacks adroitly accompany their sheer joy of singing with banjo and guitar. They will be joined by fiddle virtuoso Bobbi Nikles, cellist Myra Joy, Bryan Seet on keyboards and award-winning Irish step dancer Aislin Roche.
