Support All-Ages Venues In Your Town

Music >

At Brown Paper Tickets, we support anyone being able to sell tickets and, conversely, anyone being able to go to great shows. From Ian MacKaye‘s efforts to expand music accessibility to more recent developments like the All-Ages Music Project, the past thirty years have seen all-ages music become a strong point of activism in arts and music. As a result, a lot of great venues that support art created and attended by people of all ages have cropped up. These spaces range from coffee shops that put on music programming to spaces specifically dedicated to making sure that great shows are accessible to everyone, regardless of age.

We’re proud to ticket some of these efforts:

SPACE Gallery in Portland, ME does some great programming that’s not restricted to music, doing visual arts, film, literature and more. Foundry Hall rocks the all-ages music in South Haven, MI. We’re excited when shows at Portland, OR’s Backspace pop up. Two Hearts Productions are all-ages promoters in Reseda and Conoga Park, CA. In Seattle, we ticket for Fremont Abbey Arts Center, and for the Experience Music Project’s Sound Off! Underage Battle of the Bands.

Don’t see your hometown on there? The All-Ages Movement Project has a great directory of all-ages venues across the country and if you still can’t find one, they have resource guides to help you create your own venue, with the goal of having a creative space for people of all-ages in every town.
