Friday, November 16 I Le Petit Moineau, A Vintage Vixen and a Beast Called MelanomaLas Vegas, Nevada  Come help celebrate the birthday and life of Elizabeth America Mikesell-Vega (La Petit Moineau), a Vegas burlesque angel that was taken too soon by cancer. The family will be displaying the art of Lisa, with photos and memoirs. They will also be providing refreshments and light appetizers, and a slide show of the artist and her work. Lisa was a very special girl. She became one of the most important figures in the lives of all the people she met. It did not take long to fall in love with her. Lisa displayed kindness and strength to everyone that came across her path. Lisa will remain an example of strength to all who knew her. This event is also to build awareness about melanoma and to raise funds for a local charity. There is no cover charge so that leaves more money for you to contribute. If you’re in Vegas, please go and remember an amazing talent that was taken from this world much too soon.
